This resonates. Waking up early and taking control of the morning feels so good. Not looking at your phone right away, and accomplishing something challenging first, is so simple and so powerful.

Nice post Danny, this is something I’ve been working on as well. My best days are the ones where I can stay away from my phone in the morning for as long as possible.

When I’m in the gym now or go for a run, I don’t listen to music and try and be as much as possible in the present moment, which also means avoiding my phone
